Excellent design, great performance. Just a minor quibble.
This is the second generation of the PowerPort (although the previous one was not exactly called that, here is a link to it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B8L36A6). Anker has upgraded the device and this one is better in *almost* every feature. I'm including some pictures comparing it with both the previous version and Apple's iPad charger for reference. Find below the main features broken down as Pros and Cons so it's easier to get the gist of what this product is about. ## Pros: - Two USB ports. Both of them can output up to 2.4 Amp **at the same time**. This is excellent because it means you can charge two tablets at the same time. - Upgrade in power output with respect to the previous model (24 W vs 20 W). - PowerIQ. This is probably the most underestimated feature of Anker chargers. It means that the it charges your device (i.e. phone or tablet) at the rate it supports. This is important as it prevents damage to the device's battery and prolongs its life. - VoltageBoost. Helps charging devices faster. - Indicating LED. lights up blue in stand-by/not-charging state and green when charging devices. - Great minimalistic and tasteful design. Anker is really upping its game on every new product. ## Cons - Although the attached photo doesn't make it justice, it's actually a tad larger than the previous version and definitely larger than Apple's charger. However, the rounded edges help fitting it in small places. ## Conclusion Excellent construction and design, two ports and charging features than help extend your mobile device's life. Although it's slightly larger than its predecessor, it is small enough to carry it anywhere. You can't go wrong with this charger, it's now my default charger when traveling.
