I'd been taking a kickboxing fitness class, but wanted to be able to work out at home since my work hours don't always sync up with the class hours. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to set up. The bag basically screws into the base. You tighten the bag into the base just a bit (upright, not on its side or anything), then you fill the base with water or sand, and then you finish tightening the bag into the base. I bought mats to place the bags on and so I could workout barefoot easily. Apparently I'm stronger than I thought because even with the base filled, the bag would scoot around a lot. So I bought some of that rubber grippy stuff you can line cabinet shelving with and stuck it under the base. Doesn't scoot as much now. I absolutely love this bag. It's as nice as what I was using in class. It's an investment in myself and I'm so glad I bought it!
