#1 Nail glue for press on nails
I have an obsession with press on nails and I use this glue exclusively. If I properly prep my nails and use this glue, I can get my nails to stay on for 2 to 3 weeks. (Even though I am usually over them in a week or so) Make sure you are lightly filing your natural nail and the fake nail to ensure proper adhesion. It gives something to hild on to. Place the glue on both your nail and the false nail and SLIDE the nail up and down a few times to get rid of any bubbles then firmly sandwich your finger for approximately 15-20 seconds to give it some times to dry.
It comes off fairly easily when you're ready to get them off too. Gently lift the nail on the side of your finger and put some cuticle oil in the space between the nails then work the nail from the sides to get the glue off for the least amount of damage.
You can also soak your fingers in hot water with dish soap and oil for a few minutes to loosen them and soften them up.
I do not recommend soaking press on nails as they become gummy and gross and it's a mess to get them off.
