Book is bigger than I was expecting which is great! Plenty of room and I don't feel I have to squish my practice into tiny spaces. This is the third book I have purchased on the topic and my favorite thus far for the following reasons: (1) it's spiral bound as all hand lettering and calligraphy books should be. (2) The focus is on practicing strokes and lettering. I bought one book that seemed to rush me through that and the back half of the book was filled with projects. Which is great if you are experienced but if you are a beginner, you definitely need more practice before tackling a piece of artwork you intend to display. (3) Did I mention the size? There is so much room in this book to practice the myriad of alphabet styles presented.
