I have spent a great deal of money looking for the perfect feeder only to be disappointed by the features. I NEVER wanted a plastic feeder but I now have 6 of these on my patio because: it holds 32 fluid oz, allows the hummingbirds to perch while feeding, is simple to clean because of the "wide mouth" opening, has 8 feeding stations and although it's plastic, my feeders are still in excellent condition after 8 years of use. I highly recommend this feeder. And please note: NEVER EVER buy the red-powdered nectar available in stores....the powder can kill the hummingbirds. The bright red top & base of this feeder is all that is needed to attract the hummingbirds so make your own nectar: 4 parts water to 1 part sugar.....cold water works fine, simply take a moment or two to stir well before using.
