Small, But Important Factors About These Excellent Washcloths --- Read This
As others have said, these are fantastic washcloths, especially for the price. They fluff up greatly when laundered the first time, thus seeming far more luxurious than they do when straight from the package.
However, there is something small and important you should know.
Each washcloth has a little adhesive sticker on it. You know, a little sticker that shows the lot number or who it was inspected by.
The problem is that I didn't see the little stickers and just threw all the washcloths into the washer after opening the package. Unfortunately, the little stickers came off in the wash and are now stuck to the inside of the washing machine tub. I was able to scrape them off, but each left adhesive residue on the tub! It's everywhere!
I'm hoping it rubs off as I do loads of laundry, which I expect that it will. But this small factor is something I wanted you to be aware of so you didn't make the same mistake I did.
Buy the washcloths, but take a few minutes to remove the little sticker from each washcloth before laundering them the first time!
EDIT January 6, 2019: I continue to enjoy these washcloths, but I did want to let y'all know that a number of the washcloths' seams have let go. I don't think it's the way I use them, nor that it's our washer (it's one of the new computer-controlled, gentle, low-water-use ones without an impeller, so I don't think it's beating up the washcloths). Other than the seams letting go, the washcloths are holding up A+. If you're a seamstress (I'm not) and can re-stitch them, knock yourself out.
EDIT May 24, 2019: Even more of the washcloths' seams have let go, as shown in the first photo. Other than this factor and the sticker issue I mentioned in my original review, I really like these and would recommend them.
EDIT 6-26-19: Even more seams have let go.
EDIT 1-10-21: More seams have let go and a number of the washcloths have developed holes. The cloth itself still feels good and usable, but they've just not held together well over time, even with our super-gentle newfangled washer.
