Save a trip to the dealership, local mechanic, or auto parts store when you use this scanner to read your car computer's stored OBD2 codes. Read your own codes and have an idea of what your car is complaining about. You can then research the issue specific to your vehicles make and model. If the fix is within your capabilities, run to the auto parts store to get your replacement part and install.
