A bent nib pen takes some getting used to...
The pen arrived in a nice package, which included a converter. It has a brushed black metallic finish and is quite attractive. As I always do with a new pen, I flush it out with water to clean it, and dry it out before first use.
My pen has a fine nib, which I prefer to a bent nib or to an extra fine nib.
The first time I used it was with a blue ink. It didn't have good contrast. I tried a darker blue. Better, not a good match for the paper I was using. I then tried Noodler's Bay State Blue, a deep, brilliant dark blue that can be very difficult to clean up after should you flush the excess in a sink. But that's the ink, not the pen.
The ink flow on this pen is good. It's of course dependent on the type of ink and the paper you use.
My conclusions after a few days of use? Here are the questions, and my answers:
1. Does it look nice? Definitely yes.
2. Does it work as expected? Yes, the fine nib writes well. No skips, good ink flow.
I hope this helps.
