Add up all of the sensors you'll want to buy, not really "no contract 24/7 monitoring"!
I think this company needs to be more transparent with the realities and not disguise their descriptions behind some marketing ads. It makes them seem shady.
First, this is not really "no contract 24/7 alarm monitoring"... you NEED their contract to get 24/7 alarm monitoring. Without the contract, you just get a loud alarm in your house, with no 24/7 monitoring. Now I don't expect something for nothing, but I did first interpret this as....OKAY, no contract with their company, but maybe I could still get wi-fi text and wi-fi smartphone alerts or even emails, no... there's no ability to customize that, you must subscribe to their service (roughly $15/month as of today's writing).
Next, it says "protection for every room in your house" << again I feel that's *very slightly* deceptive... it is not protection for every room in your house, it is protection for the supplied and limited number of sensors that ship with the bundle you bought. You have to purchase the extra window, door, water, freeze, temp sensors.
The marketing ads make it seems like this is your 1-stop shop, buy this and you get protection for every room in your house (along with no contract monitoring) for one low price and that's not true.
Aside from that...yes this was very easy to install. I do like the sensors that state the batteries last 5 years on average...as long as it is 3-5 years and not 3-5 months, I'm totally okay with that. I do wish it had a glass break detector in this bundle.
When I actually started adding up all of the windows and entry doors and garage windows and doors and other open-able entry points, the sensors really do add up...so do keep that in mind when compared to a wired-in Smith Thompson type residential alarm.
So despite the slightly deceiving marketing descriptions, looking past that, this is still an easy to setup and use system with seemingly long battery life, but to get all of the benefits (calls, texts, emails), you'll additionally pay $15 each and every month and the company should be clear about that.
