I'm a very picky engineer and I've been using green engineering pads since the 1970s. National Brand is the best. Various companies I've worked for have tried to pinch pennies by buying lousy green paper from Ampad and others. Don't make that mistake. If you want a beautifully consistent writing surface that will allow your fancy pen to flow smoothly page after page, trust National Brand to deliver. You should ignore the reviewer who thinks the holes are on the wrong side; the grid is on the back of the sheets so that it will magically disappear if you scan your beautiful graphs and equations. You should ignore the reviewer who thinks the sheets are thin and flimsy; the translucency is how you can see the grid while you're writing and it's important if you ever need to trace something. The reviewer who said that, at 200 sheets, the pad is just too thick is correct though. 100 sheets is a much better size. However, given the slight difference in cost for the 100 and 200 sheet pads, it would be silly to opt for the 100 sheet pads at nearly twice the price per sheet. Buy 200 sheets and tear the pad in half. Now, stop reading Amazon product reviews get back to work. ;-)
