I had a Lasko pedestal fan for years and it broke so needed to replace it quickly. I have to have a fan at night while I sleep. I wanted something less obtrusive for my bedroom & decided to look into the tower fans. This seemed like one of the best based on all the reviews. IT IS!! I'm so happy with this purchase. The power of the breeze is substantial-it blows my blinds from the opposite side of the room, it's very quiet even on the highest setting, the remote is a game-changer, the different breeze settings are very nice, being able to set for up to 12 hr run time is great, the oscillation function moves a bit slow but will circulate the air nicely, the temp display reads the temp in the room accurately. the only part to put together is the base...easy peasy. I suggested this fan to a gf of mine...here's the video I sent her.
