Did better than I had hoped for . I have metal doors- yes magnets stick to door but easily corrected with a brush of hand - magnets are many & strong. Was concerned about cats clawing at screen but screening material is high quality and cats learned quickly that door opens with a push of their head. When they did initially stand up to claw the screen it opened with their weight but closed shut after they fell forward and into the house.
