High protein, low carb, stays crunchy in milk... but a bit expensive.
Pros: 1) *Very* low carb thanks to the allulose. 2) High in protein - 15 g per serving! Equivalent to some of the cereals made for bariatric surgery patients that I've tried, only with less carbs. I haven't had bariatric surgery but I've eaten some such foods because they are low in carbs. Yet they typically have 4-6 g net carbs per serving, while this one has just 1 gram! 3) It stays crunchy in milk (I use unsweetened almond milk). This last one is important to me, since I've never been a fan of soggy breakfast cereal. I always ate cereal quickly, before it lost its crunch. You don't have to do that with this stuff. You can take your time, even return the almond milk to the fridge, before digging in without worrying it will go soft on you.
Cons: 1) Peanut butter flavor is just a coating on the outside of the cereal; it's not inside the cereal itself. Not a big deal for me; guess I've been dieting so long I am used to diet products tasting different from conventional foodstuffs. 2) Like other reviewers have said, the price is a bit high. I guess the explanation for that is probably the high protein content. You're getting more protein from this product than from a cheaper breakfast cereal. Still, the price will be prohibitive for some people.
Overall I like it, though I can't purchase it regularly because of the price. I guess if my income goes up I could buy it often - though I'd want to try their other flavors before getting this one again.
