HP 5255 All In One Printer
In testing this printer I found myself disappointed that it didn’t live up to my expectations. Pro’s: 1. You can set it up so that can buy ink automatically when ink is low. 2. Even though it’s slow, it does print lovely. 3. It does have an app that you can use to print, scan and copy and more from. 4. As stated in #3, it’s an all in one, prints, scans and copies. 5. It has a nice sleek, lightweight design. It’s not even close to being as heavy as my canon printer. Cons: 1. The setup although easy enough was a complete pain. I installed the ink cartridges (included) and the screen and the app kept telling me I had installed them wrong. I had not and after about 10 mins of reinstalling them I turned the printer off and restarted it and that made it accept the ink cartridges. 2. The auto paper feeder only holds 35 sheets of paper. Who wants to constantly be refilling paper? 3. It prints much slower than the Canon printer I own. 4. For those who use a lot of ink, in my experience, HP ink is kinda expensive and can’t be replaced with no name brand ink. It uses HP 63 ink and black runs about $20 and tri color runs about $26. This is regular size cartridges. So, bottom line: nice design, prints well, doesn’t hold much paper so needs refilled frequently, and is slower than printers I’ve previously used.
