On the advice of several friends, some who are in the medical field and others who apparently have a secret hate for me. I purchased this handy little tens unit. In my pain and excitement I even paid Amazon $4.00 extra to overnight it. Upon its speedy arrival I opened it with the excitement of a small child on Christmas morning. After installing the enclosed batteries I quickly read the included instructions and then looked at the long list of pictures that I am praying were lost in translation from Chinese to English. I then bribed a 12 year old child to wipe the affected area(right shoulder) with a warm damp wash cloth to remove any lotion, just as directed. I then placed the very sticky and tricky electrode pads on the formentioned area. The moment of truth had arrived. I gently slid the power button from off to on and pushed the button that is labeled shoulder. I was expecting a gentle vibration and massaging movement, instead I suddenly felt like I was licking an industrial sized 9volt battery. As I started screaming in pain a very large mule began kicking me. The large group of inquisitive children whom before this day I had lovingly claimed as my own quickly recoiled in shocked fear complete with nervous giggles. As I lay on the toy strewn floor quivering in battery operated pain one brave child who is forever striving to be my favorite grabbed the evil devil box and in the brave attempt to turn it off, instead turned up the frequency of the attack. Finally after what seemed to be several hours the he figured out how to turn off the Devils box. The injured and now fear filled mom is a quivering mass of pain and the children are now gleefully trying out the Devils toy on random body parts. I am giving this evil box a five star rating as the original pinched nerve pain is now completely gone. Sadly so is my honor.
