Please let me know if you found the 1-min video useful, taken with a video camera called Flip that I had purchased from Amazon! Mr. Huang's logical review of the basket influenced my decision to order this product, and I have thoroughly enjoyed using it for trips to the grocery store and to the library. When you lift the arm, the arm disengages. My 6-yr old knows how to operate it. I have loaded several pounds worth of groceries -- and the ride is smooth. But please note that this is not suitable for children's bikes. You have to be able to steer firmly with all the front loading that goes into the basket.
