Works exactly as described. Just a few pumps and off the cork comes. We did use it on a plastic cork, after 8 or 9 pumps I knew this was just to much. Wiggled it around some and there was a HUGE POP due to all the air pressure inside. The only flaw I see, is the plastic collar (which slides down the neck of the bottle and is also used to push the cork off the needle). It just feels a little on the thin and weak side. I have a funny feeling that this collar will undoubtedly crack one day. But keeping this in mind as we use it, we should be just fine. And for the price, great product. If the collar snaps, I will buy a new one. Even if the company made a stiffer more hefty feeling collar, I would pay the extra cost involved. Cheers!
