Enjoying the great outdoors once again! A great purchase!
Yueton Pack of 30 Multi-purpose Clothesline Utility Clips, Steel Wire Clips by Blovess
A nice mosquito net/table screen for your outdoor patio set! As others have said, with a little tweaking from the manufacturer, this could be great! As it is, it's still a nice product! Be prepared to do a little work on your own to make a 9ft umbrella net stay on. The one they picture is a smaller net or bigger umbrella, just realize it won't look or function as pictured. Just follow the steps below for a less painful install of your table net, and enjoy from the fruits of my trials and errors.
10 tips for easy install and long term happiness!
1: Realize for a 9ft umbrella you will likely need a stepladder.
2: Realize you will likely need a second person to help you.
3: Find the top of your net, and find the draw string, and get as much slack out of it as you can,
4: Partially open up the umbrella. Throw or drape your net over your umbrella centering the top as you pull the rest down slowly.
5: Once you have it pulled down or draped the net over your umbrella slowly, open your umbrella to full opening position.
6: Release the drawstring to let more of the net out to lengthen the net to the ground.
7: As you release more of the net out slowly, adjust the center of the net, making sure to keep all sides as even as possible.
8: To help with this, loosen your umbrella from the base, so you can move the umbrella around to you making this easier.
9: Once you have your net on the ground, make sure to tighten up any slack on the pull string as to not have the net fall off.
10: I recommend the clips from Amazon (see link above) to help ensure the net stays in place and on the umbrella. Perhaps a bit tacky, but it serves a purpose. Hope you enjoy your net and outdoor patio set! I am!
(As for the tube that you're suppose to fill with water, I just filled mine with air as I don't know how often I'll take down the umbrella.)
UPDATE: As other reviewers have mentioned, the zipper needs work. About my 5th or 6th time zipping it up or down and it's snagged on part of the net. Luckily I was able to resolve it without a tear in the net or having the zipper stuck. Manufacturer needs to widen the zipper where it's stitched to prevent it from catching any part of the net. Still satisfied with the umbrella table net.
