Sudio Ear Buds
I bought these after watching a recent review done on YT where these were not the main item being reviewed, but an item used to show what good cheaper priced ear buds should be in terms of sound and quality. I was not disappointed. For the money, I have not heard a better headphone setup yet. Even when comparing them to my Sudio Ear Buds that ran $120, I prefer these so far to them.
Ear Buds - The buds sit in your ear comfortably snug. The different Ear adapters are decently made and seem to provide a good seal to your ear once you find your size and learn to slightly twist them as you are putting them in. The Quality for the price is top notch. The flat sides of the ear buds are touch sensive "buttons" (Not really buttons). This button works well using timed touches to change volume (1s press) or skip track or Siri/Google Assistant activation (2 sec press).
Case - The case holds the buds in place securely using magnets that are strong for the use case. The lid flips open easily but holds closed firmly.
Sound - Across the board these are surprisingly well balanced headphones. Good solid bass for the size, great mids, and highs that are maybe a tick too high, but nothing that bothers me, but is slightly noticeable if you listen for it.
Mic - I have used these for both conference calls using MS Teams and Duo as well as several long phone calls. Everyone said they could hear me clearly and had no complaints on how I sounded to them. I haven't used them in a loud environment yet, but had one situation while walking down the street where traffic could have been an issue, but the other person said it sounded good on their end.
Cons - The only con I have found so far is the touch sensitive controls on the ear buds are easy to activate while putting the headphones in and out of your ear as well as just brushing up against them with your hand or elbow. Several times when I needed to put the buds in my pocket while doing something, I found I had accidentally started music or podcasts and they had been playing in my pocket. Can be annoying when you wanted to stop at a spot and now have to find that spot. So far I have tried to keep the case in my pocket and put them in the case when not using and needing to carry. That stops this from being an issue.
Finale thoughts - Great great headphones for the money. Hoping they prove to last long term, but time will tell. Would def buy them again or as a gift.
