Very Comfortable Pad!
I do a LOT of tent camping. It's part of my business of being a wildlife photographer and wilderness guide, so I need a pad that not only is comfortable and light, but one that I can recommend to my clients when they ask what I use. I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs and have several different types of self-inflatable pads; some with arms and pillow, some without. I like this one for many reasons: 1 - it is definitely comfortable on hard ground but it also fits nicely in my hammock when I want to sleep in it, 2 - the ease & speed in which it inflates and deflates and 3 - it is light and compact and fits on my ruck nicely. One of the first things I do with every pad I buy is measure it to see if it is the thickness the seller says it is in the description - some do.... a lot don't! This one does! It is every bit of an inch and a half thick even without the extra breaths of air. Mine holds its thickness, too, due to the nice valve it has on it. I made a short, 3 minute video on how to best inflate and deflate this pad, though the method works well & is highly recommended for all self-inflatables. I don't have any problem recommending this pad to my clients or anyone who reads this.
