Incredible!
Yes, you do turn red and if you’re pale like me, REALLY red. Don’t panic, it’s not a chemical burn, it dissipates within 30 mins like the package says. Included a pic of the redness for reference. I have dry skin and wasn’t sure this was the mask for me until I tried it, but I wanted to treat my acne, flaky skin, blackheads, and acne scars. Well, it worked. Second pic is before and after 1 use with half water half apple cider vinegar. I know the pics aren’t quite the same quality, but you can see a reduction in the active acne around my mouth and the discoloration of the scarring. It tightened up my loose skin too and LOADS of dead skin and blackheads just fell off afterward. I ended up dermaplaning because I didn’t want to scrub right afterward and needed to get all the dead skin off. I exfoliate regularly and had no idea so much dead skin could possibly be on my face. I mean, peels don’t take this much off my skin or out of my pores. I left it on for 25 mins even though I have sensitive skin because I wanted to wait until all areas dried (I may have applied it thicker than necessary) but it didn’t cause any problems. It dries SOLID and it’s not comfortable and removing it with a warm wet microfiber cloth made my eyes water. I’d imagine using your fingers will be even more uncomfortable. Completely worth the redness and discomfort, both are temporary, but both are a bit alarming if you’re not expecting it, so... expect it. Great value for money, I barely used any to make a face and neck’s worth.
