Bought a house 4 months ago in an area with hard water from a well. Noticed that pressure dropped off very quickly when opening faucets and was worried about scale buildup on pipes from the well. We do have a water softener for our house. Purchased the descaler as an additional way to address the buildup, clear buildup from the pipes, and prolong the life of exterior faucets. Water flow has gradually improved since installing it a few weeks ago and the buildup on outside faucets seems to be less. Will check in again after a few more months. The descaler is beautifully designed, easy to install, and maintenance free.
