Does exactly as advertised; understand what it can do before purchasing
Another great Worx product.
As I read other reviews, I immediately know who works with pressure washers and reads all of the info, and who doesn't have a clue.
This product does exactly what it's advertised to do. As stated, this is not a Pressure Washer. You cannot use this with a pressure washer... Because that kind of real pressure would blow this thing apart.
I'm not sure why one person couldn't wash their car with it but I had no problems washing my truck after mudding.
Like any self car wash, you still have to actually use a brush and scrub your car.
It's like taking a shower... Getting in the shower doesn't get you clean... It rinses you. You have to scrub with soap in a shower, so you scrub with car wash for your car.
If you use a pressure washer on your car, you'll strip the paint. I've used pressure washers to strip paint and surface aging on wood fences prior to sealing them.
Pressure washers are high pressure for a few very specific uses.
This is NOT high pressure, but it is definitely Higher pressure than your garden hose... It's certainly higher than the water pressure from my well.
For people who camp, do survival stuff, go mudding, are at the beach, etc, this is a great little tool because it can draw from any water source... From a bucket of water to a creek.
That's extremely handy to have available.
Since most of us with a military background and survival training plan for things like charging with solar power, we can use this anywhere.
When I lack sunshine, I have a great tool that converts wood-fired heat into battery-stored charging power.
So for many of us, this also provides the means to a shower no matter where we go.
I think the key to rating products is reading what it does and what it's limitations are, and why they are what they are.
The tool does exactly what it says it'll do and when you own Worx products, you buy them for what they CAN DO, not what you wish they could do. I can't down rate this because there's not enough pressure to satisfy me... It provides the 80-320psi as advertised and works exactly as advertised.
So far, over the years, Worx has always quickly and happily dealt with the couple of issues that I've had.
I own at least 10 Worx products and use them both around the house and many on the job.
Now, if you can't wash your car with this, then you have serious issues, because that means you can't wash your car with just your garden hose either. That's a car covered with that or something that requires tar and bug remover.
I can tell you that even after going to a self car wash and an automatic car wash, there have been times that I still had to use such products and hands wash my vehicles again. So no car wash is going to get every car clean, if cars require scrubbing, additional products and generally more than water hitting the car.
If water hitting the car was enough, then every rain shower would be a great cat washer... But it's not.
Awesome tool with many uses that I can't do with my big pressure washer.
Read and follow the directions on using and cleaning this tool, and you'll be fine. If you have concerns, call Worx. If you don't have a clue, call Worx and check out their website for videos on the product... Those are very helpful and their demonstration videos are really good eyeballing what this and any of their tools can actually do, if you can truly grasp their capabilities and limitations from the written word.
