I thought I might like this item so ordered 2....I am SO glad I did !! I have gotten so tired of replacing r trying to reattach a towel bar that has pulled or gotten knocked loose. I'm not sure who thinks of towel bar design, but the size they come in NEVER hit a wall stud on both ends !! They must not know anying about wall framing .... it's almost always 16" on center ie for the novices, the wood members are 16" apart at the center of each stud. Knowing that .... why would you make towel bars 12, 18 or 24 inches wide !!?? They are bound to fail at the end not fastened into wood, even if you use wall anchors ! The sheetrock is just not strong enough to hold up with people whipping their towels on and off. This product fastens at one point only, right into a stud. It's a great looking product as well, matches my brushed nickle fixtures wonderfully. I have 2 bath towels, and 2 hand and face cloths on it with no strain on he fixture at all.It was also very quick shipping even with the holidays !
