I devoured this book in the course of a day. That's a first for me with books in this genre. However, as a Christian who in my heart always knew there was more to Mary Magdalene and her relationship to Jesus, this book is the treasure I never thought I'd find. I love how this book satisfies the part of me that loves to learn by providing me with theological interpretations of the passages and references to other gospels and teachers/theologians but also satisfies the spiritual side through Meggan's own experiences with Mary Magdalene and the scriptures of her gospel. I found myself highlighting, laughing and crying throughout the book. Highlighting the words I never want to forget, laughing and cheering that the truth will never be suppressed (it rises no matter what) and crying to see confirmation of what my soul already knew. I cannot recommend this enough, and I cannot thank Meggan Watterson enough for allowing her soul voice to be recorded to share these beautiful and transformative words with all of us.
