This rocket launcher was by far one of my best purchases for the kids. I have 5 kids ages ranging from 14 months to 10 years old and they all loved it. My 8 and 10 year old assembled it on their own and were thrilled that they were able to launch in different directions. Its actually cold now where we live so we played indoors but I can imagine the thrill even more outdoors. I am a preschool teacher and have had other brands in the past that I remember would often tip. Whats unique about this one is the base of the LAUNCHER IS WAY STURDIER then others I have had in the past. My kids also put the launcher standing upward and had it shooting straight up as well. My baby loved it too and I was able to leave them playing since its foam and safe no matter where it would land. The only part where they needed help was making sure they were taking turns since they were all fighting over it. I would recommend this really from 9 months and up since every age can enjoy it accordingly. Every time the rocket went flying the baby crawled to go catch the rocket. My 3yr. Old boy couldn't get enough of it and the girls ages 6, 8 and 10 kept aiming in all directions shooting for targets.
