My eyes slowly open. What time is it? The sun is too high, I try to sleep a little longer but something inside me refuses. My body aches. Chills. I feel hollow, empty. I'd swear I had nothing left inside of me if it wasn't for the incessant burn. I slowly work the crust from my eyes without focusing. Too many reminders of where I am. Who I am. A question I can no longer answer. Time has slowed to a crawl and inch by inch I manage to rise. [Can I even call it that anymore?] I can't. Why do I let this continue. There are so many ways I can end this, but I'm too weak to even try. Please tell me "Smiling Asian Teenage Boy", always clinging to my wall, so bright, so vibrant, will I ever smile again?
