I wear US size 8.5 - 9, Euro size 39 shoes. These socks fit me well. I wore these on heavy rotation during a 3 week cold-weather vacation. I've worn and washed each pair at least five times. They're still in great shape. They kept my feet warm in moderately cold weather (3-8°C). Even when my feet were sweating, they didn't get cold. When I peeled the sweaty wet socks off at the end of long walking days, they didn't even smell! And I mean, I sniffed them up close. Wool is amazing. I threw these in washers and dryers (mostly in cold water) and they're still in good shape.
