Most helpful on tubs, for people with achy joint problems
I've had my Scrubtastic for a few weeks now, and have had better luck than some, as far as the battery charge lasting. I was able to clean two bathrooms twice, on it's first charge. The power level stayed high until the very end, and then the unit suddenly stopped (lucky me, I was almost done). When I plugged in the brush wand to be recharged, I noticed that it initially wouldn't maintain a red light (visual cue of recharging). Upon inspecting the handle, I found that if the power button was accidentally in the 'on' position, the red light would come on, then immediately turn off. Flipping the switch to 'off' before trying to recharge, solved the issue. As others have hinted, it's not so much the power of the brush, but the cleaner used, as far as the results. The experience of using an automatic scrubber on an extension pole has been a less achy back, and not having to deal with a face full of cleaning fumes, as well as the reduction of pain on my joints, as compared to the old method of scrubbing manually. It's also shaved a few minutes off the time it takes me to clean my bathrooms. I only wish there was a battery meter, to hint at how much power was left in the battery. It was a little surprising to have the scrubber stop abruptly, without any warning.
