LOVE IT! Dyson beware you have competition!
I have wanted a stick vacuum for years but couldn't afford one. Well, since we are getting all of our hardwood floors refinished soon, I thought I would bite the bullet and invest. I watched comparison videos and came down to the Shark or the Dyson (I have a Dyson roller ball vacuum). Then the other day this vacuum came up on Amazon Prime with a $50.00 coupon. I again investigated this brand(never heard of it) I found out that this brand is made by Ecovacs . Both Ecovacs and Tineco came with great reviews..... I gave it a chance,,,,,So glad I did.
First the way this product was packaged, was very impressive. The ease of putting it together was also a plus. I received the hard wood floor and the carpet power brush, two batteries, small power brush, crevice tool, dusting brush and the docking station. My main concern was kitty litter, with three cats it can get tiresome cleaning up, had no issues. I gave my dining, living, den and my sons room a THOROUGH cleaning and went through the two batteries, I did this because I wanted to use both batteries all the way through and recharge them to see how long they last. I was never on max drive(didn't need to be) and they lasted a little over an hour. In the end this vacuum worked like a champ.
There are two things I would change. First I would add a foot release, it would make removing the hard wood/carpet brush easier. Second is actually a design flaw. You can switch the button so the vacuum continuously runs. However, that was clearly made with right handed people in mind. I am left handed and kept turning the machine off. Where my finger rests, on the switch to keep the machine on and I am afraid that this will eventually cause the switch to break. Lefties beware. I will be contacting their cs department about this issue. In closing an article about this vacuum read, "Just like a Dyson but without the cost", I completely agree.
BTW with the $50.00 coupon and the credit I received because I opened an Amazon CC, I ended up paying $167.00 for this vacuum.
