I've been very pleased with this vacuums performance so far. Actually, this is better than the last stick vac I had, and I think the previous one was $50 more than the current price of this vac. The reasons I decided to take a star off and rate this 4 out of 5 are: The brushroller can't be completely turned off. This isn't a huge deal, since the vacuum detects whether it's on carpet or hardwood and adjusts accordingly. It'd still be a nice feature to have though since occasionally it'll fling a couple things backwards on hardwood floors. (In the video included with this review, I demonstrate the vacuum automatically changing the power when it goes on the carpet.) Another reason (also shown in the video I included with this review) is that it isn't able to get right up to the bottom of the baseboard with the brushroll on. You can take the brushroll off and use it as a handvac to get up to the baseboard, but then you have to bend over. (This isn't normally a big deal but personally (and I'm sure others understand this as well) I have a bad back, so I'd prefer not to have to bend over if I don't have to. Lastly, I just don't like the charging connector. Again, this isn't a dealbreaker in my opinion, and it doesn't seem "weak" or anything. Personally though, I'd prefer if you had a little base station that you set the vacuum in to charge it, or if it were magnetic or something instead of the two prong. (I've included a pic of the charger with this review as well.) Each one of those issues aren't really a big deal on their own but when you put them together, I think it warrants a 4 out of 5 star rating. Overall though, this is a very good vacuum and if I could, I'd actually rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars, since the issues are so minor. If the issues I describe above don't seem to bother you, then I'd absolutely recommend giving this vac a try!
