I absolutely love two factors of this dash camera: The first factor is the superb detail in the images that are captured... simply stunning. Captured still images and video are clear and crisp even at night. I love the ability to turn off the traffic data recording in order to use the camera as a walk-around camera. The second factor is the easy setup each time I pull it out for installation in the car. It begins to video once it receives power from the engine when I start it up. Easy peasy. * * * I hope they can come up with a method to mount this camera on a tripod or some other device for using it as a walk-around camera. I have a solar panel battery charger that I use to power it as a walk-around video camera; I just need some method to mount it to a monopod/tripod for video uses outside the car. * * * I love it nonetheless. With the help of a few supporting actors (attachments and mounting options), it'll be a headliner and a big seller for quite some time to come. * * * Until that time. . .
