I moved to Seattle where the winters are cool and damp and often windy, and I lived in a drafty old house when I ordered these leggings last winter. I have some other fleece-lined leggings and thought these would be similar, only in a great dark red. But no--the reviewer who says "it's like wearing kittens on your legs" is spot on. Kittens, small teddy bears, whatever you want to call it--these leggings aren't lined with fleece, and not just merely fuzzy, but seriously it's low-pile, stretchy faux fur. Fur leggings. With the fur on the inside. But still fairly thin--I mean, like, you don't look like you gained 20 lbs when you wear them. I went out to a concert on a miserably cold and windy February evening, with these leggings under a skirt. I'm terribly cold-blooded, and even I felt like, "COME ON, WIND, BRING IT ON." One potential negative: the seams around the crotch and butt are obvious. They're overlock, I think; I don't have the leggings in front of me right now, but you can see the seams on the butt in one of the pictures for the wine-red color. They're visible on the front of the leggings, too. If you're wearing these under something, or under a top that goes down to your thighs, no problems, but if you're looking for leggings that are pretty right up to your waist, these might not fill your bill.
