Purchased product for my son attending college as a means to travel across campus. Initial feedback was positive regarding scooter power and battery life despite his size at 6’2” 250lbs. However, after approximately 2 weeks of daily use the rear tire went flat as a result of inner tube failing. After several attempts to locate a replacement and emails with Swagtron we learned they have replaced the rear tire with a solid rubber tire to eliminate need for an inner tube. They immediately shipped the new tire along with video instructions for replacement. We decided to have a local bike shop complete the replacement for minimal fee and my son is back on the road. Swagtron informed us they will continue to use the inner tube on the front tire and to date we have not had any issues with that tire. Company was very responsive and quick to provide solution to the problem.
