It has been 8 months since I installed the system. Rock solid is the best I can describe it. I had small problems installing the cameras because they were not designed for concrete installations where the cable can't be hidden inside the sheet rock. The solution, install the aluminum base to the roof (don't use Tapcon screws, the heads are too big and will interfere rolling up the cables), drill a hole to the side 1/2" knockout, insert the cat 6 cable and punch the RJ45 Keystone Jack. With this done, you will need to carefully roll up the long cables of the cameras letting almost no room for male and female plugs. Changing the IP address of each camera is not big deal but having a small knowledge in internet access protocols will be very helpful. Night vision quality is acceptable even in complete darkness. The hard disk can record 7 days with no problems. The mobile app for iPhone is very easy to use. The verdict: Recommend it and do it yourself if you have previous experience with these systems, otherwise pay for it.
