This is undoubtedly the most heavy duty, best built hose I have ever used. The connections are substantial and I can't imagine them ever failing. The spring at the female end helps protect the hose better than the extra bit of rubber that most manufacturers put there. The hose itself is very sturdy. It has the largest outside diameter of any 3/4" (inside diameter) hose that I have ever used. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you get some amazing flow through the hose improving flow rate and reducing pressure loss. I would have given this a 5-Star review, but the washer it came with was extremely cheap and leaked when I first connected the hose. I replaced it with a higher quality washer and haven't had any problems since. For a hose of this price and quality, you would think that they would include a washer of equal quality. As a side note, look at all of the sizes before you buy. At the time I bought this, the 100 ft hose was less expensive than the 75 ft.
