Correlle dishes are excellent and the Portofino design is beautiful, light weight, and I love them. Note that the color is not consistent on all the plates. See the picture I attached, 3 plates, 3 shades Some would be annoyed by it. I think it makes it look hand-made. Also, the soup bowl shape is different than the other Corelle set I have, and Portofino bowls do not stuck well. 6 of them takes more than double the space of 6 regular Corelle bowls. Last comment, this set is missing the 8-1/2-inch salad/lunch plates. Instead, there are the smaller 6-3/4 inch appetizer/snack plates. Given a choice, I would skip the not so great soup bowls, and get just plates in 3 sizes
