This are really comfy under my feet and the design compliments my kitchen well. My cat is also enjoying these nearly as much as me.However, he's not using them to stand on while cooking or washing dishes. No, he's decided that these make excellent scratching pads. Not sure what attracts him to these, but I already have multiple holes in them from my cat's newest fascination. Obviously this is not the fault of the manufacturer but since they are on the thinner side, it didn't take long for Ghost to tear through them. Oh, well. I love my cat so I guess I ultimately don't mind. :-)
