First thing I feel obligated to mention is that this listing is a bit misleading. In the description it indicates this coffee grinder can be used for items other than coffee beans, however as you will see the instruction manual clearly states that this should only be used for coffee beans. That having been said, I used it for chia seeds anyway. For the price, I am honestly not too bothered if it does some kind of irreparable harm to my grinder - I wanted chia pudding and no grinder instruction manual was going to get in my way. I have now used this grinder with both chia seeds and coffee beans. I'm not a grinder aficionado and I don't need the fanciest product on the market. This grinder gets the job done and provides a nice fine grind, just what I was looking for. The motor sounds powerful, but is relatively quiet compared to other grinders I have used (it's still loud, but not AS loud) Overall I am pleased with my purchase, I have not had this product long so I cannot attest to how long it lasts but so far, so good. It's a good price and I think a better option than some others out there in the same price bracket.
