Helpful hint: download companion audio. Not the audio books. Audio books cost extra money, and it don't make it work to the touch, it just means you can press play on the pen and the pen will read the whole book. Companion audio makes it work to the touch, and doesn't cost anything.
1) create leapfrog account
2) plug pen to computer, download that nonsense.
3) unplug pen, open the first book, turn on the pen. Tap the little purple button, it will say "have your parent download companion audio for this book" or something along those lines.
4) plug back in the pen, a thing will pop up saying download companion audio for this book, click okay.
5) test book before moving on to the next book. Repeat steps 3, and 4 for all ten books.
Jessica was stupid and downloaded audio books and spent $20 she didn't need to spend. Don't be like jessica. You are welcome.
Oh, also this works fantastic. My only complaint is each pen only holds ten books, so if you love it and want more books you either have to regularly log onto your computer and switch them out, or buy another pen for ten more books. I personally, will be going the lazy parent way and buying another pen. Download is a pain in the ass. I'm too tired for all that nonsense.
Once again, you are welcome.
