IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding the 3 versions of Howard Leight Quiet Bands: Everyone shopping for a quiet band should be aware there are three different versions of Quiet Bands: QB1, QB2, and QB3. Each of these three versions is "one-size-fits-all". The difference between the bands is NOT size, but rather where in your ear the foam plug is designed to sit and the corresponding level of sound attenuation. the QB1-HYG is an "Inner-Aural" banded earplug which means it's designed to fit inside your ear canal. It has the highest sound attenuation NRR of 27 the QB2-HYG is a "partial inner-aural" banded earplug which means that half of the plug fits in your ear canal and a wider section of the plug fits against/outside your ear canal. It has a sound attenuation NRR of 25 the QB3-HYG is a "semi-aural" banded earplug which fits against the opening of your ear canal. It has the lowest sound attenuation at NRR 23.
