We have always bought a real tree but recently decided we no longer wanted to go through the hassle of searching for "the perfect tree" to lug it home and inherit the task of watering it and vacuuming pine needles every day. After checking other brands and sorting through some non-authentic reviews on other trees we decided to take a gamble on this one and I am glad we did. Any bad reviews that you read about this tree DISREGARD. This tree is INCREDIBLY REALISTIC and worth EVERY PENNY. It's made with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) to make it full on the inside, and PE (polyurethane) tips to give it that realistic look. For the price, you CANNOT go wrong! If you want a full PE tree your gong to spend a LOT more money. The tree itself is pretty big and tall at 7 1/2 feet and also fairly girthy so allow enough room to set up. The key to the beauty of this tree is patience... Some of the photos from other reviews don't do this tree justice. You really need to just take the time to spread the branches evenly and in layers. The tree comes wrapped in miniature garlind-like twisties, which I used to keep some branches suspended as I spread each branch, layer by layer. To further enhance the illusion of a real tree I picked up a fragrance plug in from that famous candle company that can easily be found in any decent mall along with a scent called Balsam and Cedar... mind. blown. If you have patience and are willing to put the time into meticulously separating each and every branch evenly, you will NOT be disappointed with this tree. It took me about 3 hours to get this just right. It might sound crazy, but look at it like this, it only takes 3 hours out of the 8,760 hours that are in one year (sorry for geeking out); that's less than 1% of your time in the year -- it's SOOO worth it!
