I am a RN BSN and have been for many years. I'm constantly looking for new efficient products to use in my career but also at home. As most nurses, my family all call me when they are sick, injured, etc. so I use my products on them as well. I tried a couple different non-contact infrared thermometers but this one was the best by far. It feels better made than the others. It has a carrying case which is a nice extra. Also, this one is extremely accurate. Whether using body, surface or room temperature, it was always +/- 0.2 degrees at the most within accuracy confirmed by other thermometers. A lot of the time it would be exact in its readings. This is by far the best non-contact thermometer I've used and I really enjoy the non-contact so I'm not touching the patients and spreading any potential germs! If you work in health care or are a parent and looking for a non contact thermometer, I can tell you through trials with other products that this one is your best bet!!!
