Refurbished drives sold as new. Wiped SMART! No warranty!
The drive was marked new here and on box, but they had just clumsily wiped SMART data. Drive had at least 2 years of documented hours run time on it despite most SMART parameters being clumsily wiped. It also had no manufacturer warranty due to being OEM type device. This is straight up fraud and explains the otherwise excellent price.
