I've had quite a few handheld vacs over the years, for their ease and convenience on immediate small pickup jobs or in tight spaces. I especially like to use handhelds on the staircase, where disassembling and yanking on my primary large vac's hose is a real pain. With that said, I think this Bissell Featherweight is in the top few hand vacs I have ever used, and it's not too surprising, since Bissell is a well-known manufacturer of floor and carpet cleaning machines and products. I am really pleased with this little guy- it is extremely lightweight, just as described- and I have it tucked in my front hall closet for a quick clean up when the kids track in dirt. I'm giving this a 5 star review, because it actually works, and it works well. The only minor issues I think they can improve on, is to make the stick height adjustable (i'm kinda short, and i'd prefer to lower the height just a few inches), and that the crevice accessory is free-floating (nowhere to attach it to the vacuum). Even so, these are not huge issues, since I like to use it as a handheld mostly anyways. This Featherweight is a good price and has good suction power for a small, light machine.
