I was very indecisive about this purchase. It looks so cute but I was worried how much my cat would actually enjoy it and how easy it would be to put her in each time we were ready to go out the door—especially with some of these other carriers I was looking at with lots of zippers and pockets. I was also worried about taking her in the plane with me/ airport. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this purchase! She actually really likes it because she’s able to see everything and be close to us which is nice. She won’t usually get in on her own since you have to zip the whole thing up at once but she won’t ever fight us putting her in it. The only downside is I fear on extremely hot days it gets a little hot and stuffy in there but putting a lunchbox cooler in with her at times seems to fix this. She’s done great with this backpack in both the airport and out adventuring with us. The pocket on the side is nice for snacks and what not and the little opening on the other side is nice to reach in and pet her when she’s nervous (ie during a plane ride). Not to mention she is the most popular thing wherever we go with all of the comments on the backpack. Over all I would recommend it!
