Ordered this bed when it was the deal of the day a little while back. Thought it was a good deal for 550. Showed up at the house in a large duffel like everyone else says. It is best to open with someone else. Kinda heavy and awkward trying to do it on your own. I left it for a full day to fully open. I encourage others to do the same as it gives it more time to breathe and expand. The majority of the expansion was right when you open the packaging. Oddly enough the free pillows took a while to open. up and I still feel like they haven't opened up completely almost a week later but oh well. I gave the bed a full 24 hours and a little more to expand before sleeping on it. The husband LOVES the mattress. I am still getting used to it honestly. Hopefully it will relax a bit. I was used to sleeping on a plush pillow top with a 3 inch memory foam topper so it will take a bit to get used to a regular mattress but I have not had issues sleeping honestly. The other great thing is that he used to roll around a lot and I don't feel him move much at night anymore which is really great. I am 6'2 and the Husband is 6'8 so when the tall people love it, you know its good. Give it a shot. If all else fails, you cant beat the return policy. UPDATE: After a few weeks, I honestly have to say that I love this mattress. It became softer with time and I have had some of the best sleep in my life on it. the memory foam became softer as time has passed but is still a good combo of firm and soft. Definitely provides some excellent support for back and side sleepers. I encourage people to give it a shot all the time. I was very hesitant about the idea of a "mattress in a box" but this put my mind at ease.
