AMAZING Product!!!
I am a city-dwelling dog owner, who lives on the second floor. We use a Porch Potty on our deck for our puppy, which has been a life saver for house-training...but, as we quickly discovered, where there is dog waste, there are flies. Very quickly, our high-premium outdoor space became a place where no one liked to hang out. The flies also meant we couldn't leave our French doors open on warm days, because they would invade our house.
After trying 3-4 other cleaners, including Nature's Miracle, I ordered Angry Orange on a whim. The reviews were so positive, I figured it couldn't hurt--particularly if I could reclaim my deck.
For those that don't know, a Porch Potty is an elevated platform with removable fake grass. There is a drainage hole in the center of the platform, which collects waste water in either a bowl or a drainage tube. To keep it clean, I have a 2-galleon watering can, into which I mix about a cap-full of Angry Orange. When my pup "does his business" on the Porch Potty, I pour about a cup or so of the solution over the affected area. The solution soaks through the fake grass and drains down the drainage hole, keeping the grass clean and fresh smelling. I have a spray bottle for stubborn or dried-on problems. About every two days I rinse, the whole thing with about a galleon of the solution.
Since using Angry Orange, the difference has been nothing short of miraculous. We still get flies now and then, particularly on warmer days, but the problem has improved by about 90%. I'm able to leave the door open when I need to, and usually, the only thing I smell out there now is Angry Orange--which is pretty delightful, since I love citrus scents anyway. Not only does the Angry Orange kill the pet odors and keep everything clean, I think the scent actually acts as a deterrent to the flies--all of the pet safe flying insect repellents I'd been using to help control the problem had citrus bases. I think the Angry Orange is actually acting as a repellent, too, so in the long run I'll save money because I won't need the separate cans of spray.
I can't recommend this product highly enough. I would encourage anyone grappling with pet odors to buy it by the truckload.
