After going through a pack of Space Savers, I found myself needing more of these vacuum storage bags to clear up storage space. I found these Hibag space saver bags and found that the 20 pack was the best value among all brands, so I decided to give it a shot - I'm glad I did. It comes with plenty of large, jumbo, and jumbo plus bags. In addition, it comes with 2 travel sized bags that you roll for compression and a manual hand pump. I used a large Hibag immediately for a queen sized lightweight down comforter and was able to compress it quite easily. It's been 4 days and hasn't re-inflated, which is a good sign. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and when compared to Space Savers, there's almost no difference. I say almost because the vacuum suction doesn't extract the air as fast as the Space Savers. You also have to be mindful of not impeding the suction on the inside of the bag and making sure what you put in there doesn't get sucked up and block the airflow. I put new pillows that were still in their plastic bag into the vacuum bag and when I turned on the vacuum, the suction caused the plastic to block the airflow and didn't end up compressing at all. This didn't happen with the space savers, but overall it's not a big deal as I rearranged the contents in the bag. Still a great buy!
