Read reviews prior to making purchase. A lot of reviews mentioned how unstable to mannequin was. Well, great news I also had the same problem the mannequin appeared to fall down upon touching. There is nothing wrong with the mannequin the assembly was incorrect. At the bottom (base) of mannequin is a metal stand once the stand is set up you must go back and lock it in place, you do this simply by turning the base dial until it is locked. Once you do this you can move your manniquin anywhere anytime it will not fall apart and it's very sturdy . See picture for diagram
